1. Company Registration & Compliance

Target Himalaya Treks is a fully licensed and registered travel agency in Nepal, operating under the laws and regulations of the Government of Nepal.

We comply with all required authorities, including:

• Nepal Tourism Board (NTB)
• Department of Tourism (DoT)
• Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN)

All our Himalayan trekking and adventure travel services are conducted in accordance with national guidelines, ensuring safety, environmental responsibility and ethical tourism practices.

2. Terms of Service

By booking any trip or service with Target Himalaya Treks, you acknowledge and agree to:

• Provide accurate personal and travel information
• Follow instructions given by guides and staff during your journey
• Respect local laws, customs and environmental guidelines
• Accept the inherent risks involved in adventure travel in Nepal, including trekking in remote and high-altitude regions

We reserve the right to modify itineraries when necessary due to safety concerns, weather conditions, or government regulations.

3. Payment Terms

To confirm your booking with our Nepal trekking company, the following payment terms apply:

Booking Deposit

• A non-refundable deposit (typically 20–30% of total trip cost) is required to secure your booking.

Balance Payment

• The remaining balance must be paid before the start of your trip or upon arrival in Nepal, as agreed.

Accepted Payment Methods

• Bank transfer
• Credit/Debit cards
• Secure online payment systems

Please note that any bank or transaction fees are the responsibility of the client.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that travel plans may change. Our cancellation terms are as follows:

• Deposits are generally non-refundable due to advance bookings and permit arrangements
• Partial refunds may be available depending on the timing of cancellation
• No refunds will be provided for unused services once the trip has started

In cases where trips are canceled due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters or government restrictions, we will offer alternative options or rescheduling where possible.

5. Liability Limitations

While Target Himalaya Treks prioritizes trekking safety in Nepal, certain risks are beyond our control.

We are not liable for:

• Flight delays or cancellations (especially domestic mountain flights)
• Weather disruptions, landslides, or natural disasters
• Altitude sickness or health-related issues during trekking
• Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
• Delays caused by strikes, political unrest, or unforeseen events

All trekking and travel activities in Nepal involve inherent risks, especially in high-altitude environments such as Everest, Annapurna and other Himalayan regions.

6. Client Responsibilities

For a safe and successful journey, clients are responsible for:

Health & Fitness

• Ensuring they are physically fit for Himalayan trekking
• Consulting a doctor before high-altitude travel if necessary

Travel Insurance

• Obtaining comprehensive travel insurance that covers:
  • Emergency evacuation (including helicopter rescue)
  • Medical expenses
  • Trip cancellation/interruption

Documentation

• Carrying valid passport and visa for Nepal
• Securing required trekking permits (we assist with arrangements)

Personal Conduct

• Following guide instructions at all times
• Respecting local culture, traditions and environment

Failure to meet these responsibilities may affect your safety and travel experience.

7. Permits & Regulations

All trekking activities in Nepal require official permits such as:

• TIMS (Trekkers’ Information Management System) card
• National park or conservation area permits

Target Himalaya Treks assists in arranging all necessary documentation in compliance with Nepal tourism regulations.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Nepal.

Any disputes arising from services provided by Target Himalaya Treks shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Nepal.
